In reference to middle school threats,

Captain Chris Kirk from New Smyrna Beach Police Department · 27 May 22

a tip was received overnight which was immediately investigated by the Edgewater Police Department and determined to not be credible. The current reports are a resurfacing of that same report. Officers are on scene to provide additional security and assurance, but there is not believed to be a credible threat at this time.

BREAKING: City Commission approves 11 p.m. youth curfew in response to disruptive spring break crowds

Lieutenant Mark Severance from New Smyrna Beach Police Department · 17 Mar 22
